A ‘moormaid’, in the style of the mermaid as Copenhagen’s landmark, poses in front of the Chancellor’s office building in Berlin, Germany, 03 December 2009. The ‘Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union’ (NABU) held this initiative to protest against the climate policy of the International Community of States prior to the Copenhagen climate conference, demanding a stronger position of the protection of moors in the fight against climate change.
