A large number of Iranians, including many supporters of the local opposition, attend the funeral ceremony of Iranian dissident cleric Grand Ayatollah Hossein- Ali Montazeri, who died at the age of 87, in Qom, Iran, on 21 December 2009. According to eye-witnesses and opposition website, tens of thousands attended the funeral and de facto turned it into political rally, media reported on 21 December 2009.
