A Lerwick la festa Up Helly Aa

The “Jarl Squad” dressed in Viking costume take part in the Up Helly Aa festival in Lerwick on the Shetland Isles in northern Britain, Tuesday Jan. 26, 2010. Up Helly Aa is always held on the last Tuesday in January every year. The day involves a series of marches and visitations, culminating in torch lit processions and galley burning.
