31/01/2010 - Kashmiri Muslims shout pro freedom slogans after a gun battle in Sopore, 55 kilometers (36 miles) north of Srinagar, the summer capital of Indian Kashmir, 31, January, 2010. Protests erupted in a town in Indian Kashmir Sunday with protesters alleging that government forces staged a gun battle in the town. Police said they recovered a rifle, grenades and a laptop from a house after they exchanged gunfire with a suspected rebel in Sopore but he managed to escape.
