A US Marine drinks cobra’s raw blood offered by a Thai navy instructor after learning to kill cobras during a jungle survival training course as part of a joint military exercise of Cobra Gold 2010 (CG10) at a military base in Chon Buri province, 70 kilometers (44 miles) east of Bangkok, Thailand, 09 Febuary 2010. How to survive in the jungle is a part of the multi-national joint military training exercise of Cobra Gold, that focuses on maintaining and improving military-to-military relationships among the United States, Thailand, Singapore, Japan, Indonesia an, for the first time in 2010, the Republic of South Korea. More than 14,000 participants are involved in the exercise, designed to promote regional peace and security.
