15/02/2010 - Fusilier Kevin Lyndsay Fire Support Company 1 Royal Welsh leads a joint Afghan National Army and Soldiers from Fire Support Company 1st Battalion Royal Welsh takes place in the Garbay Noray area of Nad e Ali, Helmand Province, Afghanistan during Operation Moshtarak. A total of 15,000 troops, including US, Afghan, British, Canadian, Danish and Estonian personnel were mobilized for the operation, dubbed Mushtarak, a Dari word for “together.” It is the largest offensive since the US-led coalition invaded Afghanistan in October 2001.
