Filipino residents sift through their burnt homes that caught fire in a slum area of Quezon City, eastern Manila, Philippines on 26 April 2010. Reports from fire officials said that the blaze killed one person and damaged at least 300 shanties which left more than 1,000 families homeless in Manila’s capital on April 25.
