Nepalese Hindu pilgrims - also known as Bolboms - during a procession to worship Lord Shiva, the god of creation and destruction, at Pashupati temple in Kathmandu, Nepal, 02 August 2010. More the 50,000 Hindu devotees from all over the Nepal and neighbouring country India gathered in the northern holy city Sundarijal, 42 kilometers from the capital Kathmandu where they collect water claimed to be holy. The water is stored in two small buckets which hang from their colorful wooden sticks and body. The Bolboms are not allowed to place the sticks on the ground until the end of their hours-long procession. Bolboms believe that all their sins and mistakes committed in life will be forgiven by taking part in this procession.
