The number of Muslim and Buddhist orphans in the three restive Muslim majority provinces rise to thousands and continue increasing due to the unsettle violence in the deep South. More than 4,000 people both Buddhists and Muslims have died in the ongoing anti-government insurgency which the attacks are led by a suspected mix of Islamist and separatist militants since 2004 in three Muslim majority provinces of Narathiwat, Pattani and Yala.
