Palestinian and Italian leaders voiced outrage 15 April over the kidnap and killing of Arrigoni, whose body was found in the Gaza Strip hours after being abducted by radical Islamists. Arrigoni, 36, an activist for the International Solidarity Movement (ISM), was found dead in an abandoned house in the north of the Gaza Strip in the early hours of 15 April. A shadowy radical Islamist group claimed 14 April night it had kidnapped him.
