The number of Syrian nationals who took refuge in Turkey due to the recent incidents in Syria rose to over 2,700 as of 10 June morning. Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan condemned the Syrian regime’s violent crackdown against protesters as refugees continued to cross the border into Turkey, the semi-official Anatolia Agency reported 10 June. Erdogan on 08 June said that Turkey would keep its border open with Syria despite the influx of refugees.
